The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is a professional Twenty20 cricket league in Pakistan. The league was founded in 2015 and the first season was held in 2016. The league is organized by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and features six teams representing different cities in Pakistan.

In the inaugural season of 2016, the teams that participated in the league were Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators, and Multan Sultans. Islamabad United emerged as the winners of the first season, defeating Quetta Gladiators in the final.

In the second season of 2017, the league was expanded to include a sixth team, the Lahore Qalandars. Peshawar Zalmi emerged as the winners of the second season, defeating Quetta Gladiators in the final.

In the third season of 2018, the league was again expanded to include a sixth team, the Multan Sultans. Islamabad United emerged as the winners of the third season, defeating Peshawar Zalmi in the final.

The fourth season of the league was held in 2019, where Quetta Gladiators emerged as the winners of the fourth season, defeating Peshawar Zalmi in the final.

The fifth season was held in 2020, and the league was expanded to include a sixth team, the Multan Sultans. Karachi Kings emerged as the winners of the fifth season, defeating Lahore Qalandars in the final.

In the sixth season of 2021, Multan Sultans emerged as the winners of the sixth season, defeating Peshawar Zalmi in the final.

The seventh season of PSL was held in 2022, where Lahore Qalandars emerged as the winners of the seventh season, defeating Multan Sultans in the final.
